Your Favorite Worlds!

December 28, 2015

Hello again, Buddyfighters! It’s already day three after Christmas, time sure flies! We hope that you are still enjoying your holiday!

Thank you for joining the “WEAR YOUR FAVORITE WORLD CAMPAIGN” from Bushiroad Online Shop. We are glad to receive your great response! In this week’s article we are excited to share with you the campaign’s Top 3 Most Voted Worlds! Are you ready?

★ ★ ★ 1st place: Star Dragon World ★ ★ ★

This new World introduced in Hundred Trial Deck Vol. 3: Dragonic Star emerged as the no. 1 favorite! Star Dragon World is indeed really cool; not only do Star Dragon World card illustrations depict space-age galactic beings with a futuristic theme and radiant designs, it is actually the strongest, most advanced “Future” of Dragon World. Star Dragon World consists mainly of 《Neodragon》 monsters, the descendants of Armordragons who has become dragonic cyborgs by augmenting their bodies with machinery. Read our previous article on the many Neodragon forms of Jackknife here!

“Gather, all elite warriors of the future!”

Tasuku Ryuenji is the character associated with Star Dragon World. Seeking to overcome his own inner demons and better himself, the Buddy Police officer underwent training under Armordeity, Dynamis and was subsequently granted the power of Star Dragon World. “Radiant Guardian, Jackknife “Aster””, “Dragonarms, Cavalier”, “Star Saber, Asteroid” and the all-powerful impact card “Radiant Punisher!!” are among Tasuku’s favorite Star Dragon World line-up.

★ ★ ★ 2nd Place: Magic World ★ ★ ★

Coming in at a close second, Magic World is a favourite for many who enjoy its intricate playstyle. It focuses on using card effects and Spell cards to draw cards from the deck, deal effect damage, or disrupt opponent’s flow by returning cards from their field and nullifying their spells. Constructed wisely, many special abilities of Magic World cards would make a great Beatdown deck. Also, how could anyone resist the charisma of Asmodai and his buddy Tetsuya?

“Someone who abandon his friends when they need him never become a king, yo!”

Tetsuya Kurodake is one of the characters using Magic World. Having been a faithful Magic World player since the beginning of the series, the rap-loving Tetsuya developed a close friendship with his buddy, Demon Lord Asmodai who has become a popular entertainer in the human world. Tetsuya frequently calls multiple versions of Asmodai to his field at once. Many of Tetsuya’s favorite non-monster cards feature Asmodai in the illustrations, too!

★ ★ ★ 3rd Place: Dragon World ★ ★ ★

The World used by the main character of the series seized the 3rd place in the poll! It is also one of the most popular Worlds played in Bushiroad World Championship 2015. As the name implies, Dragon World features various types of dragons, like Armordragons and Green Dragons, with a playstyle that focuses on overwhelming offense. It also includes Dragon Knights, featuring humans riding dragons, all of whom are named after heroic and famous figures in the history. Check out our article about Dragon Knight Cards here!

“Eclipsing the darkness with flames and brightening the hearts of the mistreated, The Mighty Sun Fighter is here!”

Throughout the series, Gao has sometimes opted to use Legend and Hero World decks in his adventures, but when the going gets tough he always turns back to his trusty Dragon World deck with Drum as his Buddy Monster. In Future Card Buddyfight Hundred, Drum evolved to his new form: “Fifth Omni Dragon Lord, Drum” succeeding the former Fifth Omni Dragon Lord, Tenbu (Head here for the article on this new form of Drum!). Besides Drum, Gao’s favorite lineup also include “Blue Dragon Shield”, “Dragon Lord Sword, Dragoemperor”, and “Dragon Lord Initiation, Giga Howling Crusher!!”.
